Beth - Florist

Born and raised in Surrey, I am a creative soul with a love for colour, the power of scent and the beauty of antiques. Once a Classics teacher, the timeless influence of the ancient world will always be a part of me. From the beauty of classical sculpture, to the mythological stories that help us understand the way we see the world today; I truly believe that history and floristry belong hand in hand.

I was first drawn to flowers when I was a child, the sweet, intoxicating scent of sweet peas in the summer holidays as we played in the garden; the vibrant paintings of poppies in my Nanny’s house; popping the growing buds of my Dad’s fuchsias, and the hard work my Grandad would put in to ensure his garden was full of colour and life. I didn’t realise how much I loved nature until I found myself in a job that just didn’t feel right. I didn’t just want to be immersed in flowers and plants, I really needed it! I now love living through the seasons with flowers, I let each one shape my colour palette, textures and designs.

I am passionate about bringing your vision to life and I want every single one of my clients to feel understood, valued and cared for. Providing a service that feels collaborative, calm and thoughtful is so important to me. I love using antiques and heritage pieces in my designs and love clashing bold exciting hues to bring a modern element. Here at Amber Floristry you will always find designs that are crafted with love, emotion and thought. If my style and outlook speaks to you, I’d love to work together to create something beautiful.
